Afghanistan moved to the final of 11th SA Games Dhaka 2010 men’s football stunning Maldives by 1-0 win in the second semi final of the competition at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on Friday 05 February 2010.
Maldives dominated the first half opf the game and created some good scoring chances, but failed to break the deadlock.
Belal Arezou scored the only goal of the game on 72nd minute to give Afghanistan a stunning win over Maldives.
Afghanistan now up against hosts Bangladesh in the final scheduled at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Monday 08 February 2010 while Maldives will face India in third place clash on 07 February.
